Found all the exhaust pushrod rubbing severely on the head gasket. Got deep wear spots in less than 100 miles driving. I can replace the pushrod, install new head gaskets but will end up the same. How do I clearance the holes in the head gasket without wrecking them? Is this normal?

You would need to lightly clearance the gaskets with a die grinder. This of course with the heads off and on the bench.

Yes, this is normal if you are running larger diameter pushrods. I had to clearance my head gaskets and some off of the heads on my Hemi.

Rick Seeman has an excellent series of videos on him building a hemi. I've learned a ton watching him
in this series. In one episode, he specifically mentions pushrods rubbing head gaskets, like right here:

Dude knows his stuff, that's for sure. I highly recommend the whole series.
