Hey guys,
Building another motor for next season. Going to be a bracket car running in PRO. Currently I have planned is a 440 w/ Forged Crank and H Beam rods with Ross Pistons. Pistons are going to be 11.6 - 1 w/ 88cc heads. I'm running irons this year, aluminum is just out of the budget. Might be able to ahold of some 516's for real cheap to bump it up to 13.1 - 1 w/ 78cc. Future is gonna be 78cc or so aluminum head, that's my plan at least.
Looking for cam advice on what would be ideal. I've read a few articles about the .590, but it sure seems there are better cams out there instead of spinning it real high. Trying not to spin past 7000 rpm.
Looking to see what you guys are running as well! Currently have a 67 Coronet I am trying to lighten the best I can, weighed @ 3700 w/ full interior and 3/4 tank of gas with me in it.
Goal is to eventually be a consistent 10.50's car. Maybe I'm just dreaming, but that's what I'm striving for.
Thanks guys.
