"1962 plymouth fury 4door wagon , all steel body , dana 60 rear , still the world record holder as the worlds fastest all steel street car ! 7.41 e.t. @ 198 mph ! recently purhased by the evans bros. of ravenna ,mich. it was built and owned , and records set by todd shepherd of manhattan ill. . it is going back to the track with a wedge engine and 727 trans , and nos plate to start , and then a procharger system ! it was powered by a blown alcohol hemi and a lenco trans . it should go mid 9' s @ 145 mph or so with the '67 915 headed 440 in it . the car weighs 3500 lbs w/driver and runs a 5" flowmaster exaust ! it was purchased in feb. 2002. it will be street licensed and insured in mich. for some street cruising and testing !

got a friend building a wagon for the track that will be good inspiration for him.
He is not online ,I will print a copy off for his shed wall.

More Door Monday. I call them "all doors", "4 door seducers", and "4 doors....no waiting". What's your favorite pet name for four door cars? The 4 door's were the workhorses of the line, Police cars, taxi cabs, and family haulers'. Nothing wrong with a nicely done 4 door. tmm

Don't know who's car that was...first time I've seen it...our local big show has about 60 cars and some drive hour or 2 to get here!!
