oh ya the 65's nick name is ''ginger'' its for my wife tina louise , name after ginger on gilligal's island . and it is a copper met. car to start with . thinking its going to be turbine bronze met , interior as well , maybe . and its still a surprise still . not sure she even knows i bought it . i've been very quite about the buy . this is fun . i like doing things for others without them knowing i'm doing so . not for gratitude or glory or praise , get for them . hope i'm not the only one , i think there are plenty of the members of the f?bo that feel and do the same without any recognition from others .

My better half isn't into my '63 Plymouth vert saying yeah it's neat; but loved my '67 GTO and her '66 T-Bird vert back when. She's always been an old Stang fan. Eye of the beholder I guess. Same with my daughters...not into cars, but my youngest would have liked it if I hung onto the '72 vette I had that I sold before she was born. She liked the curvy-ness of the style. So there's no chance my Fury will stay a member of the family when i'm gone and might sell it if things would go bad with my health or something. But have had it 25 years and know every bolt and clip on it, the endless hours rebuilding it and lot's of cash. I know there's a lot of us who have put their heart and soul into their rides building it themselves and to the way they want it. A nice club to belong to.

I just saw a photo of Garlits' foot after the clutch explosion.
