'63 Park cable diagram

A good weekend to everyone out there. I'm looking for a diagram/ parts break down of everything thats needed to install the park cable on the underside of the tailshaft
housing on a '63 cable shift TF ( cover, etc. ).

Because they are known to leak where it goes in,I slid the cable into some fuel line so it butts up against the entrance and put a hose clamp on it.Fluid can travel up the cable several feet,,,,,

I use shrink tube over the metal clamped fittings of the cable. Slide it on, heat it up, done.

Next time my cables are out,I just might switch to the shrink tube!!

i've done this for leakers. also, make sure to use a good o-ring.

I use 3m weatherstrip adhesive under the shrink wrap before heating it, cleaned with brake cleaner first. Has sealed my cracked end solid!

Thank you all for your reply. I was hoping to find someone with service manual or service bulletin with a detailed diagram of the parts breakdown. Your pictures & links have helped though. In response to some of your posts concerning leaking cables, they make an adhesive lined heat shrink tubing that really seals. I've only been able to find it online though.

You don't have a service manual! This is from my '62 manual. It's still a Torqueflight 8

I use the shrink wrap with the glue already in it. Anybody needs some, I have it.
