I just got a complete engine tranny from a 300 L 1964 was wondering if what shifter to use with the tranny its cable and the price was right 200$

1964 would be a 300K. I believe both pushbutton and console shifters were available so it depends on which one was used. (valve body is different for each)

If it's a 1965 300L, console and column were used. (valve body is the same)
