Yes, all different numbers for the same paint. Depends on manufacturer. Back some years ago I had access to PPG’s formula database and could get the volumes and tints but that’s not much use unless you’re mixing it with PPG tints. If you go to a PPG paint dealer and ask for 8356 you’ll get the correct white. Same for the others. The lower end paints are less likely to be exact so they recommend them for a “whole paint job”. The better stuff, like Deltron 2000 will be exactly the shade it was in 1964. I’ve touched up Deltron painted cars 10 years later and had the paint match perfectly.
