I need help identifying these. I originally had a 318 poly with an auto transmission. Pretty sure it was a 727? I got this motor from a 1977 dodge sportsman, RV, it’s a 360 motor with an auto transmission. I assume it’s another 727 tranny. I want to drop it in but Idk what these things are and where they go?
Edit:made a mistake on tranny number.

Should I install my tranny separately from my motor? I currently have it all together on a pallet.

I had to read it over but I think you are asking that you are replacing the entire engine "and " transmission from the van.
So you are using a 1977 transmission. In 1966 Chrysler changed from a cable shift to a linkage shift. This means you have to change the column if it is a column shift or if a floor shift, you need to find a 66-up floor shift and linkage.Or get a aftermarket shifter.
At one time a company was making a conversion to use the cable shifter with the 1966-up torqueflites. They are no longer in business.
I used a 1967 steering column and all the linkage for my 65 when I installed a 1973 727 to keep it a column shift.

I don't know how different a van trans is but a pick-up trans is different from a car trans. I tried putting a pick-up trans in my '77 Newport 400 and everything was fine until I tried to hook up the linkage!

Thanks for the info. Did you end up swapping the trans? or did you modify linkages?

I swapped transes. I had another one on the shelf and compared it with the one out of the Newport. What I should have done in the first place but who knew?

Copy that! Interesting I’ll have to look into that. Not sure if I even have the original transmission. It’s been 6 years since I’ve pulled the engine.
