Hi all;
I'm looking for some direction on my restoration project. A brief account of my situation: In December I bought a 66 Coronet 500 project car...in pieces, literally dozens of baggies. Most of the main parts are there and I'm prepping for paint now.
I've just been made aware that the "false hood scoop" in my possession, came out in 67 not 66....but I like it and have warmed up to the idea of it being "slightly" incorrect.
Now I've found that the hood ( with a sizable hole over the carb) has a bolt hole pattern that doesn't allow the scoop to cover the carb hole. I'm not sure what I have. Does anyone know what scoop should go with my car? It has the 361 big block with the Carter 2BBl.
