67 Coronet build thread

Went to a couple of car shows this weekend and in between I decide to throw my bumper on, changed the whole look.
At a show less that 3 miles from the house a guy showed up with a 67 Hemi 4 speed..I only knew of one other 67Coronet in Houston much less a Hemi car..

Well its been a battle, and havent updated in a while but finally able to move the car more than 10'.
3 of the 5 cars that have been built in our shop.

Well I got tired of fighting the efi and timing issues. Don't know if it was the system, my lack of knowledge with it or the dual sync dizzy but I scrapped it all and went with an AED HP carb and MSD Pro Billet and the things runs pretty good.
Was finally able to take it out and put a few miles on it. Only problems are my muffler started to lean and rub the driveshaft as you can hear un the vid, and I need to readjust the lash.
Can't believe it's been 6yrs already!!!
 
Was that the noise that you mentioned on the phone that you heard from the back?

Ya, I had it up on the lift the first time I heard it ( drove to the next drive & turned around) and saw no witness marks or obvious clearance issues but after this drive it showed marks. I guess when the suspension compresses it does get a little tighter.

Ya, the more I look the more I like it...I think the car was originaly a dark red... I just found this on the internet and its SWEET!

This is how my car was originally built according to my fender tag.
i am going to put it back the same way again.... minus the 440 in place will be the 426 instead.
