Just fired up the 440 for the first time after rebuild, when through engine break in and believe the alternator is not putting out ? I have installed the Mopar Performance electronic conversation kit and have followed the wiring diagram applying the 2 wires , one Dark Green and the other Violet to the alternator. The alternator is NEW but has been in a box for over 10 years... Me not and electrical guy was wondering if I am missing something or what would be the first steps in troubleshooting ?

In the attached image I see no voltage regulator at all. Just the wire kind of hanging in the air near where it should be

Then again, you got no spark plug wires either.

69A100 and Hemi Rebel Thanks for the response!! Yourright the VR is something that is missing and was overlooked when Iinstalled the Mopar Performance electronic conversation kit, I wasfocused on the ballast resister. Just to clarify the Voltage regulatoris needed in order for the alternator to work ? Again thanks !!electrical is not a strong suit for me
