I'm trying to help a friend with a restoration of a '68 Charger. He's at the point where he needs to remove the stock floor shifter while the trans is in the car. He seems to be stuck on being unable to remove it once he's removed the shifter "ball". He removed a set-screw, can't seem to unscrew it & is stuck at this point. Is there a procedure, sequence or something that he's missing? I'm not up on stock B-body stuff so I really don't have a solution.
