68 Charger rear brake lines

The crusty pic is my rear end and the brake line distribution block.
The other pic is what I think a new one is from Dr Diff.
The hole I see in the new block does it act as a hold down bolt as well as vent for the rear end ?
If not what does the cap on the block do ?

The hold down bolt is also a vent. Make sure it is not plugged.

Depends on rear end,8 3/4 yes 8 1/4 has a different vent. Its on the passenger side of the axle
