68 Charger w/ Slant 6 and 3-on-the-tree

Some of you may remember me from about a year ago. I purchased an all original 68 Charger with a Slant 6 and wasn't sure whether to restore it or mod it. With the help of some mopar enthusiast here, I was able to come to a decision and chose to restore it. I promised to update the forum with some photos, so here it is a year later.

The engine, transmission, drive shaft and rear differential have all been completely restored to factory specs. The body was stripped down to metal and touched up with some minor metal work. The final coat of paint will go on in a couple of weeks, but she's coming a long. I will start looking for a front seat and front bumper soon, along with some Magnum 500s.

That is a very nice transformation going back to factory stock. Glad you kept it that way showing people that these cars can look good without having to be a street monster.

I concur.

A: I can't for the life of me figure out why the factory would build such a car, or even have the option to build it.

B: Since they did, it's nice to see such an unusual combination being kept original.

i agree glad to see you kept it original, and this is coming from a guy that loves the pro-tour look. its really starting to come around. looking nice.
