FOUND 68 Charger wiper pivots

Hi FBBO,

searching for the left wiper pivot for my 68 charger.
The part number is 2857921 L.

I need this thing new, because my is stuck and I can not be moved.

I scrwed in the nipple to push fat inside. It worked for the right site, sadly not for left.

Try heating up red hot w torch and working it in vise?

Remove that grease zirk and soak it with PB blaster or other rust remover type of liquid. Let it soak in a pan of it for a couple days. Then with some heat you should be able to free it up. Then put the zirk back in and grease it.

Tried it already, as I said. It worked for the right side, unfortunately not for the left. Thank you anyway!

Wow! I have free'd up pivots that look much worse than that one. With shipping costs to Germany, I would keep working on that one. Here is another thought.....How about drilling another small hole in the barrel higher up and squirt some PB blaster in. Put it in a vise and with a large crescent wrench, try some back and forth twisting on the arm. Once you get it free'd up, you could pump some grease in, then fill the hole with some JB weld.
