68 fuel return line?

There is no filter... There's a screen in the carb inlet...

Ok that makes sense. It would have been a lot easier if this car had been somewhat assembled when I bought it.

Hmm looking in the service manual it shows one where the vapor separator is located Fig 44 page 0-20. So if it has a vapor separator then a screen is used at the carburetor?

Yup, either a filter, 383 & LP 440 or vapor separator HP 440...
