What size hole is in the fender for an antenna on my 68 roadrunner? Thanks in advance.

There’s an old antenna base there presently with the cable attached the radio. I didn’t want to take anything apart until I had the new antenna.
Once there is a hole you will have to grind or file the hole to fit if or as needed. So knowing the size at this point is pretty much mute. Once you remove what you have you will know more.
If the base is there and cable still attached to the radio, why don't you just get another antenna mast that screws into the base?

The current mast is not removable.
Does the antenna not work? Do just want to change to a different antenna? If you remove the antenna nut at the base and measure the chrome piece. I just measured one for you and the part of the base that goes into the fender is 1.274" so the hole is slightly larger.

When the car was delivered a couple months ago, I took it to a car wash and they broke the antenna mast off. There’s only about a half inch knub left. How could the hole be larger than the base you measured, wouldn’t the base then fall into the hole???

The chrome base has a lip to prevent that. Also, grab the nub and turn it out as it should be threaded

I just tried to remove the mast, it spins, but it doesn’t come out.
He measured the antenna not the hole. Just get a replacement factory style antenna. The hole is already there plus the hole is already to big for most all aftermarket antennas.
There are a ton of OE replacement antennas on fleabay that fit the OE hole in fender...

He said he measured the base and that the hole should be slightly larger. My question to him was if the base is smaller than the hole wouldn’t the base fall into the hole?

Look at the link in the pic, the part I measured @1.274" is smaller than the base OD @1.756 of the lip...

Most of those fit like crap. Reason is the factory hole is very large. Pony up and get what belongs on it and you will be done with it.
