68 Super Bee

Hello all,
Just bought this '68 Bee, 383 4 spd and I think it sits way too low. It has the 14" steel rims on it now, front tires 215/70R14 and rear tires 235/60R14... will switching the rims to 15" and installing tires like 215/65R15 on front and 235/70R15 in rear bring it up to stock height or do I need to crank up the torsion bars regardless? No idea if it was lowered in the past...Looking for a ride height like the red one at the bottom. (anyone have any idea on where to find these dog dish hubcaps?)

You can get the hub caps new at BE and A from Mike he's a good guy to deal with.

Nice Car,it most likely came stock with 14" wheels.But i am like you and would ditch them in favor of 15".The bigger 15" wheel and tires will get the car up and fill the wheel opening like it should be.

Nice car, wheels and tires would help but it does look like it could stand to be cranked up in the front. My 2 cents.

Nice car and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy my '68 Bee. Mine has stock 14" steelies on it now but I'm gonna switch to 15" soon. The 15" wheels will be Cragar S/S. I've had the steelies on it for a long, long time and I want a change.

'68--I can send you the specs for measuring stock frt. end height if you need it. Once got pulled over in Calif. at Camp Pendleton at main gate for excessive rear -end height(the car,not mine).We argued a little and was allowed to proceed. At the time, it was all stock.
