Do I have the right quarter trim? I don’t like the gap between the body and the trim. You can see the back of the trim and down behind it

Best photo I could find, you gap might be a little wide but I've noticed the gap on other cars so it's not unusual...

I just took a steel pocket rule to my untouched 69. It's about 5/16" looking from the side, similar to your top left pic. Funny thing is, I never noticed, but my car is T3 Bronze with a Tan top. They sort of blend. Your blue/white has a bunch more contrast with the trim.

Yeah, it just doesn’t look right. Maybe those high dollar builds do some custom work to fix it. I’m thinking I need to polish up the inside rear of the trim to at least make it look nice

In researching, I found these others also having a gap. Didn’t find anything about a trim for vinyl top cars

This is the way mine has been since I got it.

I guess I’ll just make it pretty and stick it back on. Thanks for the feedback everyone

Can it go forward without making the back corner look odd?

They all did that. Chrysler put some sort of dum-dum sealer to close the hole up I believe

The drip rail has vinyl over it, What do you guys think about putting vinyl behind the trim, for it to continue in the same fashion at least?
