69 road runner door contour question.

Here’s a couple of pictures of the drivers side door. They have the original door skins

I just body work on my doors, both had some minor dents and creases but nothing too bad. Both were concave towards the front about an 1/8" or so , same as beebest`s. I can get pics later today.

Yep the doors are not perfectly flat/straight. From what I have seen the dip inward and then flare outward at the back of the door is normal. I just watched some footage from MCACN this year and I could tell that all of the 68-70 B body mopars had that flare going on. You could see it in the reflections off of the door while the cars were driving in for setup. My 70 super bee is the same way. Also most coke body styled cars have it too. I had a 66 Pontiac Starchief that had that, my 68 Buick GS also has it.

@dadsbee : Did you feel as bad as I did when an F250 4X4 driver thought he could drive through my car? I'd appreciate it if somebody who knows what they're doing on these machines from hell would straighten out my pictures...
