69 roadrunner factory fuel pump

I am trying to go back stock on this 69 383 4 bl roadrunner. Is the Carter fuel pump what came out on car and was it painted with the motor at the factory. I have looked at pics and seen it both ways. Trying to get this car back to stock numbers car. matching
