70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

Not much to report for the weekend. I managed to wash the main bearings and the crank in between working on the Mustang and the honey-do list. Apparently the file size for pictures on this site has either been reduced or is no longer automatically resized as it told me my pics were too big of a file size. Oh well, I guess I won’t post any more.

Yep, it’s fixed! Valley screens in the block.
 
You know ...... no matter how hard I try.... it’s impossible to keep these things surgically clean while assembling them. This one is especially critical with the oil squirters.
Bearings in....

I blocked off the internal pickup using a 3/4” core plug and locktite plug retainer.

Blocked off the outside as well

And installed the crank...
