I was hoping to see about 1/2 of this...

Guess I’ll break out the hone.

So.. now I’ll probably have to make a custom crank trigger mount. This one is intended for use with the Jesel belt drive. I switched up and went with a chain. Always something.

This threads title should be, 70 BADAZZ Superbird......

Engine is some serious eye candy.....

I gad to laugh when I saw it. I have beagle hair throughout my shop.

Pan is on.

Went by the speed shop for some fittings and hose. There’s about $400 of it in this picture alone.

They didn’t have all 20 of the pan bolts and some of the fittings. I’m also waiting on the hose support inserts to keep them from sucking shut. I’ve got them coming in 10AN and 12AN.

When I added the fuel injection to my 70 Road Runner I was surprised how quickly a few fittings and hose added up. It is NOT cheap!!!

Looks nice Mike. Funny how quickly that adds up at 30-50$ a fitting. I like the black fittings also.

I finally got the dry sump plumbing done. I’ll still need to make sure it clears the steering shaft when I get it back in the car.

Top view with the pump on. The small brass fitting will hold a crankcase pressure sensor.

I pulled the bronze gear off a drive shaft and pressed on a Crane Melonized gear. This was quite the ordeal, so hopefully it’s worth it. I topped that off with the cam sync unit I made. Now, if only I had cylinder heads.

Going stage v?
I’d really like to have a set of them from Tim Banning with the o-ringed ports. As nice as they are, I just don’t think I need them for this build, so I’m just going with the Edelbrock heads. They flow plenty and if I need more power, it’s pretty easy to go with larger turbos later.

I called to inquire about these a few weeks ago. Tim is a hard guy to get a hold of. Maybe that’s a good thing or I’d probably own a pair, lol. Pretty nice stuff and fits my “no gaskets” theme!
