Working on restoring the 70 Super Bee V code 4-speed super track pack car. When we got it, it didn't have a power steering pump cooler and we weren't sure if it was supposed to have one. Found this locally and the guy says its for a 70 440 car. I've got the chassis assembly manual, but I don't see the cooler. What do you think? Should this Bee have a that cooler? Thanks

Yes. It should have the cooler. All my track pack 6 pack cars had it on them back in the late 70s early 80s when these were still fairly original. Luckily, the PS pump and cooler were usually set in the battery tray when the engine was yanked as well.

I believe all track pack cars got the cooler.
I believe that the Super track pack option, A-33 & A34, on six barrel and Hemi cars, when equipped with the 4 speed transmission and Dana 60 rear with 3.54:1 & 4.10:1 ratios, received the cooler, when equipped with the Saginaw pump (at least my 1970 GTX RS23V0A****** not sure if the Federal pump used the cooler). Just my opinion of course.

Follow the link in post #4, it's very detailed. Pretty much all the hp engines in 70 got a cooler if they had a 3.55 or higher.
