Recently purchased a 70 Roadrunner Convertible; 383; Auto; A/C; (my first Mopar)
Codes on Fender Tag for this posting: 26 (26” Radiator); N51 (maximum Engine Cooling)
Looking the car over for what is missing or needs to be replaced.
Fan shroud is missing.
Search found that Mopar part# 2998326 is the “correct: shroud.

Measurements for the shroud mounting holes on my radiator are 11.5’ top to bottom; 25.5” across (4 holes)
Found “correct” shroud listed at Herb’s Parts…..data for the shroud said mounting hole measurements were 12.5” top to bottom and 25.5” across.

Stampings on top of my radiator are;
3827 616 USE CHRYSLER ANTI-FREEZE

59538

Is this the “correct radiator”?
Does anyone else have a #2998326 radiator shroud in their Mopar that can measure the mounting hole measurements? Wondering if the data listed on the Herb’s Parts web site is correct. (only part listed that I found that had the mounting hole measurements?
If they are correct which radiator shroud has the 11.5” top to bottom and 25.5” across measurements?

Thanks
Greg in Michigan

truth is...you dont need a fan shroud. i took mine off when i got a Champion radiator, and it has never run so cool. if youre hellbent on having one ill sell you mine for 100 buxx plus shipping.....but like i said, you dont need one except to keep your fingers from being cut off. it will be needing a bit of cleaning.

i just put the cars away for the winter , and it might be hard to get to...but if you really want it, ill move the cars and get it!

Radiator should be a 956 (last 3 digits)I dont know the fan shroud off the top of my head.Glen ray radiators is repoping the rad.Maybe they have the shrouds to.My car is covered for the winter and I dont have any pictures.Sorry.

Thanks for the replies. Shroud mounting clips are in place so better to be safe then sorry, will contact the local Dodge dealer and see if they have the shroud in their parts database still........

Thanks again

That radiator looks to be a touch green, might want to get her checked over also.

Well found out I do not have the right radiator for a 70 RR with 383, auto & A/C..........so on the hunt for the correct one.......thanks for the replies though.......
