I am not for sure on the spacer. I put a 1" spacer that was open on my 65 wagon with the 383 and a DP4B dual plane and it always had a very small amount of stumble that I never got completly out of it. I never changed that spacer , but after selling the car I always wondered if that was my stumble. I have heard others mention that as a problem. I might try to stay with a 4 hole spacer if possible so the air under the carb doesn't have alot of transition.

My thinking is 4 hole on a dual plane because the whole point of a dual plane is ro separate the left and right banks and an open spacer just reconnects them.
