Can someone tell me the difference if any between the E body and B body front frame rails. I see that AMD 391-1570-R is listed for an E body but not a B body.

Every rebuilder I've talked too said they get the rails from the chargers to use on the cudas and challengers

Thanks for your help on this I will contact them and get their take on it, I was pretty sure they were the same but I don't know anyone who has fitted an aftermarket rail to a B body.

From what I read amd makes the closest to oem. Im starting a build and using as much oem as possible. But amd and goodmark for repop

I am repairing after a crash, there isn't much repo stuff for 3rd gen chargers, having a tough time finding a good R/T hood, I bought one sight unseen and it is totally unusable. Good luck with your project.

Everything is out there.. just have to have deep pockets.. u might be better offor finding a 318 car to salvage parts off of. Body sheet metal is the same. The bolt ons define the car. I have a 71 that I have tore down to start rebuilding. Then I was offered a 71 rt shell which I'm going to go look at soon. I have rails and core supports from a 72 along with a rear clip so I'll need doors taillights hood etc. I have leads on all of them but they r expensive
