'71 Roadrunner Ratty Revival

More updates! Someone (me) forgot to hook up the alt gauge. Got that all set up, lights are working. Somewhere between the key and the starter there is no power so tracing that down. Annnndddd the trans is leaking... again...

Also, switched out the clocked for a tach! (Much needed upgrade). Might have it at the DMV for inspection this week?? We'll see. Hoping to hit some car shows before the season is over!

More than likely the PO had the Amp guage by-passed. I did the same to mine.
I also replaced the clock with the tach on mine as well.
I wonder how many guys realized that the aftermarket tach goes to 8000 rpm where the factory one only goes to 7000 rpm.
 
Small update on the roadrunner!

A few weeks ago the trans started leaking (again) so replaced the pan and its holding so far. Car runs and drives now, waiting on a neutral safety switch harness from Evan's Wiring now.

Next big problem to tackle, the steering wheel will not bolt on properly, the splines are trashed. Should be switching out the steering shaft in the coming weeks! Maybe I can make it to a show or 2 before the season is over. (Fingers crossed)
