I want to swap from a 318 to a 400. What engine brackets do I need? I have a donor car for most. OTHER PARTS I SHOULD NEED. THANKS FOR HELP.

For brackets, you only need big block motor mount brackets and any brackets needed for accessories. You will probably need a different radiator, both for increased cooling capacity and to have radiator hoses in the right locations. You will also need a transmission with a big block bolt pattern on the bell housing. If you are using an automatic and switching from a 904 to a 727 transmission, you will also need to shorten the drive shaft since the 727 has a longer tail shaft.
thanks for the replies. site is hard to navigate on mobile is why i waited to respond. I dont suppose big block truck engine mount brackets will do for the B body swap. I have a pair of them already.
