727 Big Block bellhousing measurement

I am going to be pulling the 727 out of my car and want to make sure I have it high enough off the ground to get the transmission out. Right now I have it about 16-16.5 inches from the ground to the bottom of rocker seam/edge.

Can someone let me know if that is enough room ?

That'll be close. The bottom of the bell to the top is just under16". If its to tight just lift the tail shaft. That'll lower the bell and it'll slide right out.
