727 pan to body ground strap?

I've never saw this before. Trans was from a motor home. What's the reason?

Most likely that Motor homes need several chassis grounds.May have a metal/wood firewall depending on year. Mopar cars usually have the strap from firewall to top trans/engine mount.When the chassis/drivetrain is factory shipped there is no firewall to ground to. Class A Motor homes. Vans are like the cars. Just a thought.
 
doesn’t seem to make any sense ! perhaps a convenient place to secure ground (at pan bolt ) for the chassis builder to attach at a later time ….
