73 Charger 440 Rb Hood Clearance help.

1-Torque 2- front maximum height of 4.08 inches and a rear maximum height of 4.63
inches,
2-The Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold -typically has a height around 5.35 inches.
3- Street Dominator -For Chrysler big blocks, the front height is 4.13 inches and the rear height is 5.25 inches

So looking at dimensions and it looks as if 5.35 is my max with a conventional filter.

Any thoughts on the 3 if you think one is better than another?

You need to match the intake to your engine build cam/heads/compression axle gearing and intended vehicle use. That will be the one that will be "better".

So which is it.
600 hp TF package?
Or less but fits under the hood package.
Like stated above, I'd go with the big hp, big intake, hood scoop program.
However I did build a TF 440 for a guy with a performer RPM that fit under his 67 charger hood. And told him it's 600hp so he could sleep at night. Problem solving.

Building cars is all about trade offs. The higher the desired power the more you are trading off from an assembly line produced car. You need to find the balance that works for you. In reality, you might be trying a couple of different intakes to help you find the balance you are looking for, intakes are relatively cheap and easily sold if they don't work out for you. I can't help with hood clearance because my GTX is and is staying all stock. I'm lucky as my hotrod fits a Victor jr intake with a 2" spacer and a 750 Holley double pumper with a factory stock open element air cleaner and I can still close my flat hood.
