73 Charger leaf spring poly bushings

I'm planning to put an 8 3/4 rear in a 73 charger I have the earlier spring mount to eliminate the one bushing but I want to know what part of the front hanger makes the bushing change to oval bushings. I assume it's the hole in the spring itself and if I want to use the 6 leaf springs from a 74 roadrunner I'll need the double expensive oval bushings.

Use the earlier style.

I don't have earlier style springs that are good, does the early bushing fit in the later leafs I can bet its to big to go the other way.

Earlier springs had round eyes.

If your running a HP motor with deep gears, I would consider using 71/72 with 6 springs. Get ride of the soft ride bushings.
