Ok ..so wile my car is in the acid tank , I'm starting to look into adding a.c. to the build list ..
My goal would be to use factory dash and controls on the interior and a vintage or classic air system under the hood ....

Any help point me to posts, blogs, pictures, or websites that have information on making the change would be much appreciated. ...I tried doing a forum search but was unable to find info.

My biggest concern is the firewall. .
Every picture I have seen has the heater and ac ports more towards the center of the car ,behind the engine , my heater core comes through the firewall more behind the passenger wheel well ...but I can not confirme the pics I'm looking at are of 73's
Here's a pic of my firewall

I can measure everything out in the morning if you want I just got in a mostly complete 73 charger so I can set you up with the duct work heater box ect msg me if you want to talk

Classic Tampa for non-ac cars.

Id be curious in the estimated cost to add this.
Personally I think it's over rated living in WI, but I've lived in FL and AZ and areas like that would be a must.

Ok...so I talked to eddy at classic auto air ,they have a perfect fit system for the 73 non ac car ...($1800.00 complete kit)
I also have a buddy that has an ac dash ..
Thinking there's going to be a blending of the two.
