'73 Satellite on TV and stuff

Who cares what they want or do i treat them [shows] as entertainment only i like counting cars, gas monkey garage, desert classics ect. I think out of all of them desert classics make the most sence they fix up these old cars and auction them off for a small profit [saving them to live another day] i agree that they are far from beleveable/non scripted and most of the hardcore hobbiests cringe at the stuff they do and say but look at it as pure entertainment. The negative side of these shows are that some folks beleve what they say and think that everything is worth thousands and are rare, and those of you in busness in this hobby have to talk/work your asses off to convince customers that you are knowledgeable in this area and those shows ain't.

I agree about wheeler dealer, just can't identify with the euro cars as much as I like some of them.

Graveyard has got to be the worst. You're lucky if you see a car in the background for five minutes.

Counting is hit and mis, but I like their attitude.
I'd love to do what they do- go find cars, let others do the work to your specs, and not worry about money.
...and the seem to have a good handle on what cars not to butcher.

The thing I don't like about that show is they are takin cars from here in the states and takin them to the uk. WTF! Leave our cars alone and do some of there crap cars. We should go over there and anything that was originally from the states bring it back and send there garbage back.

I was a young Navy airman deployed to Sicily in the early 1980s and driving a Porsche that I had bought for about $100. These cars were everywhere over there and dirt cheap. But let a beat up Mustang drive by, and every Sicilian would stop, stare, and say "that's a Mustang!"

Doesn't matter where you go, there are lots of people who think foreign is cooler than domestic. :)
