8 3/4 and 4 speed oils

Which type of oul do you guys reccommend for a 8 3/4 rearend and which one for a 4 speed transmission. Im thinkin royal purple or lucas 80/90 gear oil? Thank you

run the pensoil scycro mesh in the 4 speed it make a huge difference....

Is it a Sure-grip or an open diff? If it's Sure-grip I would stick with Royal Purple Max Gear or Lucas. Make sure that the container says "limited-slip compatible" on whatever you use. If it's an open rear any good brand name GL-5 gear lube will do.

I use full synthetic mopar 75-140 gear oil with limited slip additive. And definitely synchro mesh in the trans.
