80's Music Anyone?

OK almost none of that has videos.

wah wah wah waaaaaaaaaah

The "other" Kim Carnes song-

This is some of the sweetest guitar I've ever heard 1987-

I think this is 1980.

if it's 79, shoot me.

Quite possibly the best guitar work ever courtesy of Steve Lukather from Toto.

(...and remember I'm a metal head)

I've always had a thing for powerful chicks that rock.

Started with Nancy Wilson.

Mrs. John McEnroe-

I have to stop for a while.

My fingers hurt.

One more set that reeks of the 80's

I actually like "Walking in LA" better but couldn't find a studio vid.

Women in rock...Girlschool was ‘70’s but they were the first girl band that actually “got” metal. Others tried but just didn’t get it. Into the ‘80’s I saw Heart twice in ‘81 or ‘82. Both sisters were breathtaking beautiful. And they ended their shows with a sizzling version of Led Zep “Rock and Roll” with the warmup group generally joining them. One time was Heart, Ted Nugent, Blue Oyster Cult and Loverboy. The finale was amazing. Berlin, The Bangles, Roxette, so many others. Kids today will never know.
BTW there’s a great mashup on Facebook of Slayer and The Bangles “Walk Like the Angel of Death”. It’s great.

Ann Wilson...probably one of the best female rock voices that ever existed. Damn that girl can sing!

Agree but I'd remove the the qualifier "female".

Could sing opera but not afraid to get gritty.
