94 Dakota Rust Bullitt

Nearly rust free frame and supports , want to keep it that way.
Most! of these years are rusted in half.
First coat of rust Bullitt, second coat will be Black.
Also Detailed the under side of the bed, two layers of under coat next.
Renewed some of the wiring, replaced the ABS switch which was corroded glass beaded and detailed what parts would fit in to the bead cabinet, and replaced the fuel pump.

My neighbor has a 2003 Dakota and its the best example of how these things rust out... The frame rails are flaking huge chunks all of the brake lines were rusted in half I spent hours chasing down problems with this truck. The cab has the rocker panels completely rotted out and its a horrible truck I told him not to buy.. blown up 4.7 rebuilt and still has steam coming out of it. Pretty sure its a cracked block.

Your neighbor must of bought that Dakota from up north,My buddy loves his but it just rotted away. He lives in NY got to love the salt in the winter.

I have a 92 with no obvious rust.
The underside is completely clean.
OTOH my 05 Taurus is rusting everywhere.

I did a similar thing to mine a few years ago.
Mine is a 93, I don't drive it in winter.
