Can you put a 70 a body 4 spd in a 68 b body

I suppose you could but you'd be doing a lot of custom fab to make it work. Would be way cheaper and easier to just find a b body transmission. You can probably find a decent one for around $500. They're out there. Just keep an eye on craigslist, facebook marketplace, and for sale ads on this site.
