A gorgeous Roadrunner sells in Vancouver

Well, what’s the cost to perform a rotisserie restoration these days, assuming this car underwent one ?

Agreed. It'll cost pretty much the same to restore a Hemi car as it will the same bodied 6 cylinder car, with the exception of the engine of course. Some 440 powered B bodies are touching $90,000.00. Does this mean that $70,000.00 383 & 340 cars going to become more commonplace? I dunno.

Y'all know there's actually just a short list of Mopars that an owner can actually get the full
cost of the rotisserie resto out of when selling later.
Plenty of market data to research to bear that out at this point...

Sure! We can cruise up to Richard Craniums house, pick him up, and go get pizza!
Pizza??!!! Wouldn't that be "CHOW-DA" (with a HEAVY BOSS-TON accent!!)?? Get in a Phillies-Bo-Sox game too. We GOTTA stop in Rhode I-land and get some Portugese sweet bread, yum!! Isn't the price of ANYTHING what someone is willing to pay. Ask a price & buyer should haggle, normally.

Maybe Richard should make us a home cooked meal.

Well, I guess what I was eluding to was that if someone had a personal connection to a 1969 green road runner ( personal, father, friend, etc) and was determined to relive those times, and wanted a pristine car , then it may be better to buy one done, even if it’s a little on the high side vs starting a project restoration on a lesser car that may end up costing more in the long run, as well as the aggravation. Personally, the car is not worth that kind of money to me , but maybe someone else ? Maybe not.

I looked at the red car when it was for sale on a site other than Detroit 60. I agree with some of the comments posted earlier like the ones @Richard Cranium made like ‘there’s an awful lot to pick apart in these three pictures, which speaks volumes on the restoration’.

There are a lot of nice cars out there and this was one too, however when I see people claiming Numbers matching resto’ s with fully painted underbelly’s, wrong batteries, unrestored 3 speed wipers, wrong aftermarket shifter handles, chrome Magnums with bfg’s which should be W21 road wheels (which should be painted with trim rings unless spring special colours were ordered), re-used wiring harnesses, electronic voltage regulators and ignition modules bolted to the firewall on cars that came with points, chrome valve covers, hood springs and hinges, master cylinder covers and the list goes on and on - it kind of bothers me as I have a restored car where great efforts were taken to make it as close to if not as delivered when new. I may actually list it here for sale soon, and it too will likely be picked apart -lol- but hopefully not because of high gloss bottom’s and hurst badges on the trunk becoming the new norm

I just took the pics from Detroit 60. The website I cruise is Carsonline.com. I thought W21 was 1969 only?

It might be, I’m not up on 68’s, they may all well have come with chrome rims if ordered with road wheels I don’t know. But I do see many a “Numbers matching” 69 with 15” chrome magnums.... and was just using that as part of a rant. Lol

The red 68 was a nice car

I just really like the red car. My first muscle car was a 68 RR. It is not a "restored correct" car, just a nice sweet cruiser I would love to own!
The dash is really nice. I have seen many gorgeous B bodies that had so so, or just worn dashes. 4mula, would you mind posting a few pics of your beautiful B? Your avatar is too small for my 62 year old eyes!

Ok. Resolution might not be the best. From an old phone I had.
