Who has fell down and wasn't drinking!

Fell off the couch!
About two hours is my limit for driving the motorhome. Went back and laid down on the couch and wife drove. I reached down to get my water bottle at the same time as wife made a left turn. Next thing I knew I was on the floor. I keep telling her to keep all the wheels on the ground.
 Yeah, it's always a good idea to keep all the wheels on the ground.....especially with a motorhome!!

Fell on my butt, on the front deck stairs the other night
wearing my newish Ariat Boots with rider heels, & smooth leather soles
I didn't even see the ice (like black ice) just looked wet
caught myself pretty much, kind of sore ribs & shin the next day
no abrasions, I did almost hit my head on the railing,
but it helped me from going down on my back too hard,
& all the way down 7 stairs to the bottom...

I felt so stupid, I wondered if any of my neighbors saw
she was at the kitchen sink doing dishes, perfect view of my front yard & deck
the lady next door Coby, Darrens wife, said; 'she saw me fall',
I then asked;
did it look graceful ?
she said;
'she snickered a bit', after that comment
she then said; 'I got right up, so she figured I was ok'
just the pride hurt
she saw me look around too, if anyone noticed... :poke:

I've gone down on the driveway in winter going out to get the mail in the evenings
it can get really icy, lot of drainage goes across my driveway
from the hill above, easement next to me...

Not me, but.... my gf about a year ago stepped in a muddy area at the bottom of our sidewalk,(rain had carried the dirt to the bottom) fell hard and broke her knee. (The non replaced one). 911 and paramedics to get her to the hospital. That area now gets swept, as soon as the rain stops.
And a couple months ago, she stepped on some uneven concrete (cracked) lost her balance, and broke her fall..... by breaking her wrist.
To the best of my knowledge, I've never broken any bone. Had a hard fall when I missed a step on my back porch, stove up for a few days, but no big deal.

My wife accidentally fell today and definitely wasn’t drinking. She slipped and fell into a curio in our den. Thank god the jagged glass didn’t cut her face. She fell head first. It could have been really bad.
Thank god for miracles. Thinking of what could have happened has me shaking inside.

As @Cranky replied. So glad no major
harm.
I've experienced these mishaps from
the age of 18, when I first remember
the last and close up view of that tree
bark and the numbing cold after.
Many stories to tell.
Through the years I've almost
mastered the art of falling. No head
injury, but the rest looks like I at one
time, was a Roman gladiator.
If I injur my left side, at least there's
little to no pain, but the bruises are
evident. The odd looking big toe nail
was from a trip and fall when I broke
my big toe. Tripped over a floor jack
in a dark garage. The exact same
instance occured again resulting in
a broken foot. You'd think I'd learn by now....
Once again,, so glad no major harm
bestowed upon your loved one.

Swap out that 440....

A few years back I was stepping out of my camper onto the folding aluminum ladder attached to the back door, about 6 steps, when I slipped and went *** over teakettle and hit the side of my face on the top step I slipped on and landed on the ladder. It cut my ear and rang my bell but luckily no real damage to anything but my pride.

My neauropathy is causing me fall down at least 6 times in 2025. If I catch a toe and I'm down, 300+ hits the floor it's a big boom.
