This A12 Engine was listed back in 2017 on Craigslist/Buffalo NY and repeated attempts to contact the owner at that time through the CL mail went unanswered.
Does anyone know where this engine is now and who to contact regarding it?
Here is the text of the Craigslist ad from 2017 and pics:

Is this engine a match to your car? I don't know the guy like a buddy, but he is local to me and I can probably get his contact info if its your engine. Not sure it ever sold....don't believe so.

It’s not the matching engine to my car but I understand the car this belongs to was totaled/scrapped back in the day and my cars original engine was destroyed before it was a year old.
I’m looking for an “orphan“ A12 engine to rebuild for my car.
I’m just west of Syracuse NY, serious interest, cash buyer, and within driving distance.

Who saves the original air filter element, yet throws the main caps away??:realcrazy:

If they aren’t the original mains it’s anybody’s guess when and why they were changed. If I recall the current owner has a numbers A12 car, and this block sold in 2010 for about $1,400-the original mains(if missing) could’ve been gone when the current owner bought the block. Perhaps this is an assemblage of A12 parts?
In any case it means a line bore to be safe.
I think just about everyone has a “lost, misplaced, accidentally thrown out” something or another connected with their car!

I was actually being sarcastic. I have two ‘70 V code cars, and read for years about “Six Pack” rods, and the external balance of the Six Pack engine. Over the years I realized all 440 blocks stamped HP or HP2, F440 and G440 had those parts from the factory. 4bbl, and 6 bbl. Aren’t all ‘69 440 blocks, cranks and rods the same?

“Well...Yes and No in a manner of speaking“(Line plagiarized from the 1936 movie “Earthworm Tractors”)
The ‘69 Six Pack engines had...Oh, you sneaky cuss, you almost had me again!
It’s all here: A12mopar.com
While you’re at it read about my car:

I wish I had kept my A12 Superbee!! WM23M9A283001. Last seen in Maine in primer on a rotisserie. Supposedly going to be painted back to the original Bamaha Yellow.
