a833 moved out of place

shouldnt move if its bolted to the engine and the crossmember some pics or better explanation would help us

Well the tranny mount bushing was pressed to the drivers side and it bent the flange of the cross member outward, Only thing I can think of is what other people are saying a broken or loose motor mount, im going to say broken though. I think if it were loose than it wouldn't be so hard to get into the right place. I got some pics just cant upload them til I get home. Thanks again guys

Well, got it all lined up with a new mount, went out for.a cruise with a buddy of mine that has a galaxy, got into. A walmart parking lot, dlutch pedal hit the firewall... all the linkage is still there, kinda feels like the throwout bearing pushed threw the pressure plate fingers, if that's possible, I can pull it back up and push it back in, but it does nothing to disengage the clutch, clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel have maybe 1000 miles on it... im all out of guesses on this turd.

Never mind, the pivot bracket broke and the clutch fork hopped of the T/o bearing sorry guys

If you think it's such a turd, I'll be glad to gass up the hauler and come get the thing.

had the same problem with mine with the vibrating shifter at high rpms, someone didn't put in a pilot bushing. i threw some 3.23 s in it until winter then i threw a rebuild kit in the tranny, cured the vibrating all up. as for the mis alignment, check the motormounts, could have a bad mount isolator, also check k frame alignment, measure the backside on your valve covers to your firewall for alignment. later

heh heh I just get frustrated too easy when its one thing after another lol
I really do appreciate your help though you guys are life savers on this forum. I'm just a college kid who works 50 hours a week and has two car projects I'm trying to finish. In all honestly I love my car even though it can be a turd sometimes

Think I got the misalignment thing all set, as for the pilot bearing, when I did the clutch I noticed that it didnt look like there was one, but the guy who had it before me assured me that he put one in. I do remember seeing little bits of brass inside the crank though, I ended up putting one of the larger ring style bearings in.

It's easy to do. Sometimes you need to step back and take a breath. I'm just now steppin back up after a few years of breathin.
