Accurate fuel sending unit??

Agree that most these after market units have issues.
I purchased a spectra unit from Car Quest here in Ontario.
Tested it with gauge out of tank and it worked perfectly
Then made sure float had full range in tank and moved freely
Installed and tank full it would only tread half full
I’m convinced the the plastic float is not floating to top as all else is the same.???
Any thoughts

Just get one of these. Simple to install and you can set the low and high side to your liking. I put one in. Empty tank and added 3 gallons. Set the E side so the needle was dead on E. Filled it to the brim and set the full side to one needles width past the F mark.

Pnora, I watched the tanksinc video after reading your post. Did you drop your dash to gain acces to your gas gauge wires to install the Meter Match fuel module?

no i did not drop dash just connected to wirw going to fuel sending unit at harness connection going to back
