Is it just me or is the redline on that tach set a little low? ;)
I prefer aftermarket, course I just like knowing what going on with my power train, temps and air fuel and psi, factory is nice don't get me wrong but most only have idiot lights and by the time those come on it's too late, with most aftermarket you can set which ever low psi or temp you want to shut it down if nessisary before its to late. Just my .02
I'd like to see the end result!
I don't care, I love my autometers. Plan on putting a set in my Charger, too. To each his own
Nice work!!! Mark
Factory gauges were designed to be the cheapest thing that got the approval of the bean counters (which is why you didn't see them in many cars). Aftermarket gauges were designed to be accurate.
Im sure some people wont like my gauge panel I built & the aftermarket gauges, but then again Im only trying to satisfy myself.
A gauge without numbers is like a speedometer with just "SLOW" "OK" "TOO FAST" written on its face.
I just can't leave well enough alone I guess. Some photos of my restored gauges and my ammeter/volt meter conversion.
