What are the pro's/cons of these? Other than clearance issues, is there a reason to avoid the air gap?

The Air Gap'sseperated runners keep the air and fuel charge cool. During the winter, the charge cools down the engine enuff to close the choke on my 360 darn near instantly.

During the spring and fall, it justtake a bit to warm up, much like a big block, you'll need a few minutes to let it run.

The regular RPM with the heat cross over is best for car that drive in very cool to cold temps. Theres really no difference in performance. I give the air gap model a few ponies more than a regular RPM for it's lack of heat cross over and the air that can move around the runners keeping it cool.

Otherwise, there the same danm intake.
