Alternator advice.

Looking for a stock looking Alternator around 150 amps, does anybody have any experience with Flaming River and their Billet Alternators? Tried to search the Forums but it seems I can never find a darn thing when I need it. Thanks for any advice you got.

After doing some calculations and searching more old threads, I am thinking I can get buy with around a 100 amp alternator. Can anyone tell me about Tuff Stuff or Powermaster or any other options that are worth checking out?

I have a square back 75 amp Powermaster 7419 and I'm pleased with it. Nice output at idle which is what I was looking for when I began my search. I have an electric fuel pump, nitrous solenoids, and an occasionally used electric fan and the Powermaster does a fine job.

I bought the Tuff Stuff. Internally regulated and works fine. Looks like a stock alternator.
