Alternator Field connections

Alright guys, I seek your wisdom!
I picked up an alternator today from napa. My current alt. has one field connection. The one that napa said would work has two field connections. Will it work? if it will how do I connect it?

I picked up an alternator today from napa. My current alt. has one field connection. The one that napa said would work has two field connections. Will it work? if it will how do I connect it?

Hook it up the same way as the old alternator but ground one of the fields to the case.
