Don't use Profail again!
Heli Coiling removes metal in a very stressed area of the rocker, leaving it 'thin'. I would not do it.

I just have a tough time spending $1400CAD for rockers. If I could beef up the $400 ones to be better than new, worth a shot.

Tap drill for 3/8 x 24 is .328". For a 3/8 x 24 Helicoil is .390" Thats .031" material removal. I doubt if that would bother anything. At worst the rocker you already own breaks. What do you have to lose by trying?
