Yeah they were similar....but the 'G' body replaced the Mitsu line from what I remember. The G bodies were made in St. Louis.
No?? Didn't they have the Mitsu 2.2?
Don't remember all the differences but ChryCo had their own 2.2 engines after awhile....and the 2.5 came out shortly after.
Man it's been a long time since messing with those cars....but it's starting to come back. When I first got married to my X, she had an 86 Mitsu Tredia pos with the 2.0 turbo 4 speed. Ran pretty good but man, just changing oil on that thing was a pain.
Now those were kissin cousins...
If I recall, both of them were Mitsu made and the Dodge was just rebadged and had a different spoiler and odds and ends like that.

No, I wouldn't have bought them if they were. My 87 I bought brand new was the most reliable car I've ever owned. Even after adding nitrous.

a "Shelby" ? If I recall, 90 was the first year with the 3.0 but not on a Shelby, the model was replaced by the IROC
